Connor Mikula

Connor is the soprano saxophonist of Michigan State University’s Kynetik saxophone quartet. Established just this year, Kynetik was featured at the recent MSU College of Music Wind Symphony concert “In Memorium,” performing selections from the late David Maslanka’s Recitation Book.

As a Master’s student Connor was the alto saxophonist for the award-winning Adamas Saxophone Quartet of the University of Michigan, along with Russell Kerns, soprano, Jonathan Hostottle, tenor, and Jeffrey Leung, baritone. The Adamas Quartet was awarded the First Prize at the 2016 University of Michigan Briggs Chamber Music Competition and was also selected as the 2016-2017 Young Ensemble in Residence with the Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings.
